Someone out there is looking at this title and saying, "Trainings? How boring!" Ahhh, but you've never participated in one of my trainings! I seek to develop practical, engaging, scenario-based trainings that support desired attitudes and behavior in the workplace. I have created numerous online, in-person, and hybrid trainings for humanitarian workers, police forces, residential staff, and more. (Please note: Most of the online trainings are not available to the public.) 

I approach report-writing as I would a story. The tone may be formal, informal, or somewhere in between, but it is a story nonetheless. Whether a desk review, an analysis, or a summary of resources, I seek to find and communicate the narrative behind the data. 

When I first started writing for money, it was as a journalist/photographer. During that time, I interviewed countless people from assorted walks of life: farmers, craft beverage artisans, linemen, auctioneers, and many, many more. It was exhausting, but it was so much fun! I even got to indulge my animal obsession...all in the guise of "work." 

My love of story began with picture books. One of my early memories is of sitting on my bedroom floor and reading Mike McClintock's A Fly Went By to my younger brother and sister. At this time, the only book I have available is nonfiction. I have many in progress, however, so contact me if you want to know more!
